Our business model is based on the research & development and sales of plastic recycling systems and components. From time to time we require personal data in order to provide our services. Collection and processing of personal data when visiting EREMA Group GmbH websites

The personal data acquired by the websites of EREMA Group GmbH and its affiliated companies is used for the purpose of processing orders and handling your inquiries. Your data is processed and used for purposes of customer service and/or marketing activities only with your explicit consent in the EREMA Group GmbH Communication Centre or on the basis of the permissible processing of address lists for postal contact.

If you wish to continue receiving professional service from EREMA Group GmbH and/or its affiliated companies you are required to grant your consent via the EREMA Group GmbH Communication Centre and agree to the continued use of your personal information. You can use this to grant your permission to EREMA Group GmbH and its affiliated companies using your personal data for the purpose of customer service and marketing activities via email. Customer service in this sense on the part of the EREMA Group of companies includes, among others, emailing of: customer magazines, invitation to exclusive events, information and offers of products and services which are of relevance to you. 


Information on links to third-party websites

The website may feature hyperlinks to third-party websites which do not belong to the EREMA Group or its affiliated subsidiaries. Should you visit such websites, the EREMA group can no longer accept responsibility for the confidential treatment of your data. The transmission of your data on the internet sometimes take place without encryption. Consequently, unauthorised disclosure to third parties cannot be fully ruled out.


Legal basis of the General Data Protection Regulation

In accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into effect on 25 May 2018 we hereby inform you that consent with regard to the sending of email addresses is based on Art. 6(1)(a), 7 GDPR and § 7(2)(3) and Para. 3 UWG (Austrian Act Against Unfair Competition).

You are also advised that you are able to object to the future processing of your personal data at any time in accordance with legislation as specified in Art. 21 GDPR. The objection can be made especially against processing for purposes of direct marketing.
